Professor of Higher Education, Faculty of Science and Techniques, Hassan II University of Casablanca

Cherkaoui LEGHRIS has a PhD in computer sciences from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Informatique et d’Analyse des Systèmes, Mohammed V University of Rabat, Morocco, in 2007. In 2003, he received a diploma of Higher Studies in ENSIAS and before that a degree in Applied Computer Science from the Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech.

He is currently working as Professor of Higher Education at the Faculty of Science and Techniques, Hassan II University of Casablanca. He is responsible of various modules in communication networks domain. He conducts research on networking at LMCSA Laboratory, RTM team. His main research focus on the IoT networks based across IPv6 protocol, multi-access network technologies and IT security.

He is also an active member in the Moroccan Internet SOCiety organization, which works for openness and accessibility of the Internet for any.
