Abdulie Sowe (The Gambia)
Administrator, Serekunda Internet Exchange Point (SIXP)
Abdoulie is presently the Administrator of the Serekunda Internet Exchange Point (SIXP), the first and only IXP in The Gambia. He was the assistant facilitator during the AXIS (Africa Internet Exchange System) best practice workshop for IXPs in The Gambia and was very instrumental in the establishment and technical setup of SIXP. Abdoulie has been working in the telecoms and ISP sector from 1999 to 2005 (Gambia Telecommunications Company Ltd.) and has gathered vast experience in ISP design, network management, router configuration, WIMAX setup etc. From 2006 to 2013, he was the Network Consultant of the IFMIS (Integrated Financial Management System), a World Bank project that builds a government wide system and network to automate Government financial transactions. Since 2013, Abdoulie has been operating a private ICT company Lasting Solutions Ltd that offers various ICT services including computer hardware sales, software Development and an ICT training Institute. The institute is both a Microsoft IT Academy and Cisco Network Academy. He lectures both the MCSE and the CCNA courses.
Alassane G. Blaise DIAGNE (Senegal)
Director General, State Information Technology Agency (ADIE)
After 25 years in the private sector, Alassane G. Blaise DIAGNE is currently an advisor to the Director General of the State Information Technology Agency (ADIE). In this capacity, he coordinated the activities of setting up the SENIX, which is the first Internet Exchange Point in Senegal.
Cedrick Adrien MBEYET (Mauritius)
System Engineer, AFRINIC
Cedrick Adrien MBEYET is an IT professional with more than 16 years of experience working for international non-for profit organization. Cedrick is also an ISOC member since 1999. He is currently working for AFRINIC as System Engineer in the IT & Engineering Department and also part of the technical support team of MIXP. He looks forward to working with more IXPs in the region helping them to get the most out of collaborating with AFRINIC.
Emmanuel Kwarteng (Ghana)

Emmanuel Kwarteng manages the Ghana Internet Exchange Point, a position he has held for over 6 years. He is also a founding member of the Accra Internet Exchange Point, the first exchange point in Ghana. Until recently he was the Executive Director of Broadband Home Ltd and now is the Head of Network Ghana at MainOne.
Fabrice K.D. BAGOLIBE (Togo)

Fabrice is an Information system engineer, who has been working for Togo’s Telecommunications regulator for the past 13 years. Currently he is assuming the position of Executive Director of Togo Internet Exchange Point. Fabrice is deeply involved in a number of infrastructure development projects in Togo, including the e-Government network design and deployment, the setting up of CERT and the management of the ccTLD .tg.

Ghislain Nkeramugaba joined Rwanda Information and Communication Technology association (RICTA) in November 2011. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer. Ghislain received his undergraduate degree from the Kigali Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) in Computer Engineering and Information Technology (CE&IT) and holds a Masters Degree in Communications Management (MCM).
Islam Abou El Ata (Morocco)

Islam Abou El Ata is employed at N+ONE DATACENTERS and is also the technical manager at the Casablanca (Morocco) Internet Exchange CAS-IX. Although islam has a strong systems administration and software development background, he has gathered a vast experiance as an infrastructure consultant and a Data Center solution specialist. Islam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in software engineering from the Ibn Tofail University in Kenitra – Morocco.
Khansa Mohamed (Sudan)

Khansa Mohamed from Sudan is a Network and system Engineer, responsible for the administration of the network infrastructure , Internet services and cloud services in her Company. She began to interact with internet community since graduated in 2014 through ISOC Sudan Chapter and SdNOG (Sudan Network operators group). She has been always passionate about technology and Internet infrastructure technical details. She is Volunteering for SdNOGworking as an organizer and technical team member.

Kiemde Wênden tôe fâa Franck is a Computer network design and telecommunications Engineer, in charge of the studies and engineering of electronic communication infrastructures. Franck also assumes the responsibility of the technical manager of Burkina Faso Internet EXchange Point (BFIX).
Kyle Spencer (Uganda)
Uganda Internet eXchange Point
Kyle Spencer is Director of the Uganda Internet eXchange Point, Co-Coordinator of the African IXP Association, and a Director of the global Internet eXchange Federation. Past roles include Technology for Development Specialist at UNICEF and Chief Information Officer at International Medical Group. Kyle helped to establish many notable industry associations, community organizations, and projects within Uganda. As part of this work he organized numerous capacity-building events featuring audiences as large as 200 people and notable guests including Sir Tim Berners-Lee. He is currently working to develop the regional Internet gaming ecosystem through a project called GamersN.
Nico Tshintu Bakajika (Democratic Republic of Congo)

Nico Tshintu Bakajika is a Mathematics and Computer Science graduate. His professional life started by taking charge of external relations in an agency specializing in telecommunications (BENADAM). Nico is the founder and president of the Management Committee of the “Bureau of Information for Development”, a Non-governmental organization specializing in the management of information essential to human development. Nico is currently in charge of administration, finance and operations at ISPA-DRC, KINIX (Kinshasa Internet eXchange Point) project.
Tumelo Mosito (Lesotho)
IT operations manager, Econet Lesotho
Tumelo Mosito holds a Bachelor of Engendering in Electronics from the national university of Lesotho. He is currently working for Econet Lesotho as the IT operations manager responsible for all IP networks and systems administration. Tumelo is an active member of Lesotho Internet Exchange Point (LIXP), and also a member in the newly formed ISOC Lesotho Chapter. Tumelo is interested in collecting local content and peering with other content providers.
